The film, working on the title of Nicole, revolves around Santa's daughter taking care of the Christmas business when her father retires and her brother not being able to make the cut come Christmas time.
Kendrick would be directed by Miss Congeniality writer, Marc Lawrence, who wrote the film's script. The film will be produced by Susanne Todd with Louie Provost overseeing for Disney.
The actress, recently starred in The Accountant, begins filming Pitch Perfect 3 soon with it being released in December.
