'Aquaman' Adds Patrick Wilson As Ocean Master

Sound the alarm for casting news for DC Films' Aquaman. Star of Watchmen, The Conjuring, and a whole host of other films, Patrick Wilson joins the cast of the film as Orm Curry Marius or more commonly referred as Ocean Master.

Wilson will be going head to head with Jason Momoa' Arthur Curry, as Orm is his half-brother on the human side, who grew to be jealous of Aquaman. Orm having no discernible powers like Arthur creates his own suit, that enables him the power to operate in the water, and became a pirate that on occasion caused havoc for Aquaman.

For Wilson this won't be his first foray in the superhero film genre as he, as said earlier, starred in Zack Snyder's Watchmen, in a more heroic role of Nite Owl. He also briefly starred as the voice of POTUS in Batman v Superman too. And for Wilson this will also be another film he is in that is directed by James Wan, having already starred in The Conjuring, Insidious, and their respective sequels.

We first saw Aquaman in this year's Batman v Superman and will see him again in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which will see Arthur fighting, with the rest of the League, against Steppenwolf.

Jason Momoa plays the titular role, Arthur Curry, he will be joined by Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm, and Willem Dafoe as Vulko. Aquaman is set for a October 5th, 2018 date directed by James Wan.
