It looks like the upcoming James Wan-directed DC film, Aquaman, has found its Thomas Curry.
The Hollywood Reporter, are reported that New Zealand-born actor, Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels, is in talks to play Curry, father of Arthur Curry.
Morrison is one of the more recent casting announcements made for them as earlier this week Yahya Abdul-Manteen II is selected to play Black Manta and Nicole Kidman is set to play Atlanna, mother of Arthur Curry. All three are in negotiations for those roles.
If Morrison takes the role he will be included in a cast that features Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, the half-human half-Atlantean hero, Amber Heard as Mera, an Atlantean heroine in her own right and Arthur's confidant, Willem Dafoe as Atlantean scientist, Vulko, with Patrick Wilson as Orm, a foe of Arthur's.
Aquaman is set to begin production in April with Wan directing from a script from Wan, Geoff Johns, and Will Beall and will release October 5, 2018.
