'Justice League' Scribe, Chris Terrio Helped With 'The Batman' Script

In Deadline's report on the recent departure of Ben Affleck as director for the upcoming and tentatively titled The Batman, they made mention of another item regarding the film, more so on the script.

They revealed that Oscar-Winning writer, Chris Terrio, who worked on Affleck's Argo, last year's Batman v Superman, and the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Justice League, has but in a rewrite of the script to Warner Brothers.

Terrio would be the third scribe to give creative input to the script, as Affleck in tandem with co-head of DC Films and CCO of DC Comics, Geoff Johns also made the initial script.

As of now, Warner Bros. in conjunction with Affleck are seeking a director for the Caped Crusader film, that will have Affleck as Batman, Jeremy Irons returning as Alfred Pennyworth, JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke.

No release date has been given for the film.
