'Pacific Rim: Uprising' Will Be Scored By John Paesano

Currently, production for Legendary Pictures' Pacific Rim: Uprising, is still taking place in Australia. But it has been revealed that the director of the film, Steven S. DeKnight will be reteaming up with his Daredevil composer, John Paesano for the sequel.

Unfortunately for Ramin Djawadi, who worked on the original film's score, fans will not get to hear what the composer has to offer for the sequel, as Paesano is taking the reins for the film.

Paesano's previous work includes the aforementioned Daredevil Netflix series but also The Maze Runner films, he will also be working on the Tupac Shakur biopic, All Eyez on Me.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is directed by Steven S. DeKnight, stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Jing Tiang, Cailee Spaeny, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Zhang Jin, Chen Zitong, Lan Yingying and Qian Yong Chen, produced by Thomas Tull & Jon Jashni and Mary Parent with Guillermo del Toro, who helmed the original film, as well as Boyega & Femi Oguns.

Pacific Rim: Uprising will be released February 23rd, 2018.
