'Aquaman' Stunt Choreography To Be Done By 'Mad Max: Fury Road' Team

With the production of DC Films' Aquaman starting soon, one can only imagine that the finer details are being taken care of, like stunt choreography and it looks like they are indeed working on that.

Thanks to 9News, we now know that behind the curtains, stunt teams are working on perfecting their craft for the superhero film. Stunt coordinator, Keir Beck, who recently worked on Mad Max: Fury Road, will be working on the James Wan-directed film. “General stunt skills, fighting, if there is water sequences obviously being capable and competent in water,” Beck told 9News.

Also this wouldn't be the first time someone who worked on Mad Max: Fury Road worked for DC Films, Guy Norris was the supervising stunt-coordinator for Suicide Squad and had the same role for Fury Road.

Now with the stunts being prepared one can assume that they have a lot of the cast signed on to play their roles, as stunt teams would need to pick stunt-people to double as the actors for more dangerous sequences early on before production begins.

Jason Momoa plays the titular role, Arthur Curry, he will be joined by Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm, and Willem Dafoe as Vulko. Aquaman is set for a October 5th, 2018 date directed by James Wan.
