20th Century Fox and fans alike will be saying goodbye Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Logan in James Mangold's Logan. The film will see the end of the Jackman-Logan era, an era spanning seventeen years. It was also to be scored by Cliff Martinez, a new composer for the X-Men franchise, but it seems now that the composing duties will be filled by Marco Beltrami, who has already scored for the franchise in The Wolverine.
Interacting with a fan on Twitter, Mangold made it known that Beltrami was indeed scoring the film. Beltrami's work includes The Hurt Locker, 3:10 to Yuma, Snowpiercer, and many other films, the first two getting him an Oscar nomination.
Logan is directed by James Mangold, written by Michael Green and Scott Frank & Mangold, produced by Simon Kinberg, Hutch Parker, and Lauren Shuler Donner, and stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen.
The film comes out March 3rd 2017.

@marco_beltrami Sure! But always wise to start softer and hear from other side before making accusations. Relax. Marco is scoring the film.— Mangold (@mang0ld) December 30, 2016
