'The Flash' Film To Get Page One Rewrite From Joby Harold

For some time now, there has been no update about one of DC Films' upcoming features, that being The Flash. But now some news has been released regarding the speedster film.

Ever since Rick Famuyiwa left, due to creative differences with executives at Warner Brothers, the film has been put on hold up until now. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword scribe, Joby Harold has been tasked with a page one rewrite of the script, that will be a complete overhaul of what others, like Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith, had already written in mind for the film.

DC Films and Warner Brothers decided since Ezra Miller, who plays the speedster hero, was set to film the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, that they would concentrate on creating a script.

Kiersey Clemons is still attached to play Iris West, who is expected to have a cameo in Zack Snyder's Justice League, and Billy Crudup will play Henry Allen, father of Barry Allen aka The Flash.

Jon Berg, Geoff Johns, and Richard Suckle are attached to produce, and will search out a director for the film in the meantime.
