Red Band Trailer For 'Alien: Covenant' Shows Blood, Gore, And Aliens

Ridley Scott is bringing his Aliens to the plate of films on offer in 2017 with Alien: Covenant. The film will be somewhat similar to Prometheus in that it is more of a prequel of the past Alien films. It will see the return of one Prometheus star, Michael Fassbender, as an android while also bringing in new people into the franchise.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his ground-breaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

The film is directed by Scott and stars a bevy of actors that include Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby.
