Caesar Is Figthing In First Trailer For 'War For The Planet Of The Apes'

Caesar is back and he is fighting a war, the War for the Planet of the Apes that is. 20th Century FOX have released the first trailer for the third film in the modern retelling of the Planet of the Apes storyline. This time it is no battle, it is war between Primates and Humans, both fighting to protect what they have. Check the trailer down below.


In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

War for the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval & Terry Notary and the producing credits go to Mary McLaglen, Jenno Topping, Mark Bomback, Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver.

War for the Planet of the Apes will be released July 14, 2017.
