GAPS/SCD Menu Plan (grain and sugar free)

Here's a week of dinners without grains or starches (potatoes).  We started getting in a food rut again, so I did a menu plan for this week before grocery shopping. Lots of cooked veggies and soup for snacks, eggs or leftovers for breakfast, macaroons for dessert.  Fresh juice daily along with cod liver oil and probiotics as our supplements.

Sunday
Burgers, squash fries, SCD ketsup (recipe to be posted- I'm hoping it'll be a nice and easy real food alternative to corn syrup store ketsup)

Monday 
Chicken nuggets made with shredded coconut rather than the flour mix
Homemade olive oil mayonnaise or ketsup to dip
Green beans (Big bag of organic from Costco, frozen, and reasonably priced)

Tuesday
Cabbage rolled up (tortilla substitute) with chicken salad inside
Soup

Wednesday
Shepard's pie: Ground beef, sauerkraut or green beans, mashed butternut squash

Thursday
Pizza for hubby
Fish cutlets (fish patties rolled in shredded coconut and fried.  Fish is local, caught by hubby's non-fish-loving boss and frozen.

Friday
Meatballs
Cooked cabbage as described in GAPS
Attempting nutbutter crackers, I'll keep you posted

Saturday
Eggs
Sausage
Apples, cooked

Sunday
Egg salad (rolled in cabbage for those who want it like that)
Squash pancakes
